Machining & component repair
One-off parts, small batches, obsolete components remade and worn parts brought back into service.
Repair first, replace if it makes sense
A great deal of machinery is scrapped because one component has worn and the part is no longer listed. In most cases the worn item can be measured, machined and sleeved or simply remade from bar — often for less than the cost of chasing a replacement, and usually much sooner.
Bring in the old part, even if it is in pieces. Dimensions are taken from the original where possible, cross-checked against the housing or shaft it runs in, and any obvious weakness is improved rather than faithfully copied. If the item is beyond saving, you will be told straight away.

Machining carried out
01
Turning
Shafts, spacers, bushes, pins, pulleys and adaptors turned from bar in steel, stainless, brass, bronze and nylon.
02
Milling
Plates, housings, keyways, slots and faces machined flat and square, including machining features into fabricated assemblies.
03
Overhaul
Worn journals, bores and faces machined back and sleeved or bushed so the original component can stay in service.
