About Herrow Engineering
A small independent engineering workshop near Cannock, doing the practical welding, fabrication and machining work that keeps equipment running.
Practical engineering
Herrow Engineering exists for the jobs that fall between the cracks — too small for a large fabricator, too awkward for a parts catalogue, and too urgent to wait on a lead time. Welding, fabrication, machining and repair work are all carried out under one roof, which means a job that needs all four does not have to be split between suppliers.
Customers range from manufacturers and contractors through to farms, restorers and homeowners. The common thread is that they need something made or mended properly, once, without a sales process in the way.
You deal directly with the person doing the work. If something is not worth repairing, you will be told. If there is a better way to make it, that will be suggested before any material is cut.

How we work
01
Precision
Dimensions checked against the parts they have to fit, not assumed from a drawing that may be out of date.
02
Quality
Sound preparation, proper welds and a finish that suits the job — whether it will be hidden inside a machine or on show on a driveway.
03
Reliability
Clear timescales, straight answers and work that comes back when promised.
